For best results keep screen tight and use mirror for application
WARNING
At no time should screens be inserted into nasal passage.
If breathing becomes difficult simply remove screen and replace. Not recommended for children under twelve years of age without adult supervision. Anyone with medical conditions should consult with doctor prior to use.
Always blow nose/clear nasal passages and dry skin before applying nasal screens.
If at any time you feel restriction of air flow simply loosen adhesive seal and push out at area where restriction is felt and re apply. You should be able to breathe without any major restriction and should proper place simply run finger around rim and seal completely.
Makeup and lotions should only be put on after the screen is in place as the adhesive will not stick to nose after makeup or lotion have been applied.
If you have a runny nose the screen will not absorb and is designed to let the secretions run through the screens to be dried as you normally would with a tissue. Understand that a runny nose may take a while to stop as the body is trying to get rid of inhalants. If your nose is congested in the morning and or runny you may want to try sleeping with your screens on.
If you have smaller nasal passages simply overlap the adhesive under the nose and then seal the extra portion of the screen onto the side of the nose but make sure not to close nasal passage and reduce breathability. Flaring your nasal passages during application is very helpful. You should use a mirror until you get used to using your First Defense Nasal Screens.
